How to sign your Nevada title when selling your vehicle

The registered owner of the vehicle must complete the following easy steps:
  1. Always sign the front of the title where indicated by “Signature of Seller(s)” (see image).
  2. Second, print (don’t sign) your name on the front of the title where it reads “Printed Name of Seller(s)”.

How to get a duplicate title for my vehicle

If the vehicle was last titled in a state other than Nevada, you must apply for a duplicate title in the previous state in which the vehicle was last titled. Find your state at the bottom of our homepage for instructions.
